Unfortunately Derivative files are not produced unless items come from our scanning centers. Having pdf uploads produce derivative formats, such as the flippy from our opensource collection is something I've wanted to bring to the table, although it posses obvious problems. We'll see.

If you post the specs for the XML and the image formats and archive structure, I'm sure that somebody could duplicate the input data to be read by your existing derivative-producing code.

You've got a great system for presenting books, but it isn't much help to us outside contributors.
